OraSure Technologies 70mL Automated Oral Fluid Assay: Opiates, Forensic Use Only

The Intercept i2he Opiate Oral Fluid Assay is used for the qualitative detection of opiates in human oral fluid at a 30 ng/mL cutoff concentration. Samples must be collected using the Intercept i2he Oral Fluid Collection Device and the assay is calibrated against morphine for use on clinical chemistry analyzers. Opiates such as codeine and morphine can appear in oral fluid within about one hour after administration and may remain detectable in saliva for up to 24 hours. This assay is for forensic or screening purposes and is not intended for clinical diagnostic use.
